Job Opportunity: Membership Director

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Membership Sales Director to join our team and oversee all aspects of our membership sales program. This individual will be responsible for selling memberships, servicing memberships, and building a network of members in the tourism industry across the south-central Tennessee region.


  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve membership sales goals

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential members through outreach, networking, and relationship building

  • Actively promote the benefits of membership to prospective members

  • Manage and maintain accurate membership records and sales data

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective members

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless member experiences

  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to attract new members and retain existing members

  • Attend events, conferences, and other industry-related gatherings to build relationships and increase membership sales

  • Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams


  • Experience in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Experience in the tourism industry preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
