Job Overview:
We are seeking a Membership Sales Director to join our team and oversee all aspects of our membership sales program. This individual will be responsible for selling memberships, servicing memberships, and building a network of members in the tourism industry across the south-central Tennessee region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve membership sales goals
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential members through outreach, networking, and relationship building
Actively promote the benefits of membership to prospective members
Manage and maintain accurate membership records and sales data
Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective members
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless member experiences
Create and execute marketing campaigns to attract new members and retain existing members
Attend events, conferences, and other industry-related gatherings to build relationships and increase membership sales
Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams
Qualifications:
Experience in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred
Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience in the tourism industry preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
