A Red-Carpet Experience in Lynchburg, Shelbyville, and Tullahoma

Last week, South Central Tennessee rolled out the red carpet to welcome some of the state’s most influential tourism ambassadors—employees from Tennessee’s interstate welcome centers. These individuals are often the very first point of contact for travelers entering the state, offering friendly faces and invaluable guidance that shape unforgettable Tennessee experiences.

This special tour took participants on a spirited journey through the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, with stops in Lynchburg, Shelbyville, and Tullahoma. The itinerary included behind-the-scenes experiences at the world-renowned Jack Daniel Distillery, the historic Cascade Hollow Distilling Company, and the groundbreaking Nearest Green Distillery. Each location offered welcome center staff a deep dive into the region’s rich heritage, craftsmanship, and visitor experiences.

In total, four new Tennessee Whiskey Trail passport stops were added to their collection—each one reinforcing their understanding and excitement about the attractions they recommend daily."
