Discover Tennessee Trails & Byways Update from TDTD

Good morning, tourism partners-

We want to share some exciting news with you related to the Discover Tennessee Trails & Byways initiative! We’ve updated the format of each of the associated brochures: one comprehensive and 16 individual trails.

When this initiative launched more than 10 years ago, it was a point-of-interest to point-of-interest format, including heavy copy and many addresses and phone numbers. Due to this, brochures were almost outdated at time of printing.

This update includes condensed copy and highlights destinations with callouts of points-of-interest within copy blocks. While these trails were not intended to be used in a point-to-point nor one-directional format, we felt putting destinations at the forefront was most beneficial. Within each brochure, there are around 15 destinations and 75 points-of-interests mentioned.

While not all destinations and POI’s can be included in print, the intent is to inspire travel and have visitors explore additional trail stops on http://discovertntrailsandbyways.com/. That said, it’s a great time to ensure your partner page is updated and tagged accordingly to the appropriate trail(s). Be sure to pass along to your attraction partners to do the same! Can’t access your partner page or don’t have one? Click HERE!

You can now order brochures HERE. (Friendly reminder to recycle old brochures.) Please note there is a limit on the order form, but if you need more for a specific reason, please email us.

Thanks for your continued work in promoting the many great destinations and assets our state offers.
